If your looking for a good book to learn more about glass fusing, slumping, and kiln-forming techniques then this book is for you.
"Our copy is quite ragged and very well highlighted"
Well, written and nicely illustrated this book is perfect for beginners and intermediate glass fusers alike.
Direct and to the point the author provides the reader a very informative look into contemporary warm glass.
Brad Walker not only writes the book but provides most of the pictures himself, which for the visual learners out there is a major plus.
At $47.95 the book is a little pricey but well worth the money. But then again all the authors out there can't be like Steven King and sell their paperbacks cheap. So, the book might be aptly priced.
We purchased the second printing of this book which was in 2002 by Four Corners International, Inc. and are quite happy with it. Our copy is quite ragged and very well highlighted, so Memories In Glass gives this book 5 out of 5 stars. |
