How to Keep Your Glass Organized

Organization? I know, I know, an artists worst enemy but still a necessity. So how do you keep your glass organized without becoming an obsessive compulsive? Read on.

1. Purchase containers for your small glass pieces. Preferably clear containers so you can know at a glance what color of glass they contain.

2. Make sure that your different COE glass doesn't get mixed up by marking them with color coded dots (stickers you can purchase from any office supply store). A sharpie marker also works very well when it comes to labeling the COE of your glass and takes away the risk of the sticker falling off.

3. Keep your warm glass and blown glass separate. In our studio we keep this from happening by designating one side for blown glass supplies and another side for fused. This is really a big help.

4. Keep zip lock bags on hand. These are great to have around in the glass studio because of how handy they are. Remember to purchase different sizes.
