quartz glass: A style of crackled art glass that was rolled over various colored powders of glass, and then cased in crystal.

quarry: A small, square- or diamond-shaped pane.

quilted: A cut or pressed style of decoration consisting of an all-over pattern of rectangles or diamonds.

quincunx (Latin, "five-twelfths): An arrangement of five objects in a sqaure or rectangle, with one at each corner and one in the middle, like the five spots on dice. Prunts and other motifs are soemtimes arranged in a quincunx pattern.
