Vitreous Paints

What paints are primarily used by stained glass artists? If you said vitreous paints then you are correct. Vitreous paints are mixtures of finely ground glass with pigments or mixtures of metallic oxides. After painting your glass work you need to let the paint dry and then fire at a high temperature. Vitreous paint is supplied in powder form and mixed with various liquids.
